One more blog visit

I've been wrestling with the current book and almost forgot to share: I'm over at the Dashing Duchesses today, talking about Ned.

Another blog visit

Today I'm over on Vanessa Kelly's blog. Her question of the day is about the Queen's Jubilee. I was interested in watching the flotilla, especially because I think my husband's cousin might have been on one of the boats (not that I could have seen him), but our son was watching some golf tournament in Wales. I am not a golfer, but if you read the USA Today HEA blog, you know I am a swimmer. Last night at practice we celebrated the Jubilee by doing 60 laps. Huzzah!

Bedding Lord Ned Releases and the HEA blog

Bedding Lord Ned, the first book in my new Duchess of Love series, comes out today! It's always a little nerve racking when a book debuts. I worry whether people will like it, and whether people will be able to find it at their neighborhood store.

To celebrate Ned's release I'm over at the USA Today Happily Ever After blog. Come find out how I embarrass the men in my life!

Duchess of Love deal and Risky post

I woke up this morning to discover "The Duchess of Love," the prequel novella for my new series, is FREE on both Amazon and B&N. I have no idea how long this will last--perhaps it's tied to the release of BEDDING LORD NED this Tuesday. Anyway, if you like free deals and haven't gotten the novella yet, this is the day to do it!

Also, I'm over at Risky Regencies today, talking about Ned's book.

In other news, I found a dress for my son's August wedding! And I'm still working away on Jack's story, the second book in the Duchess of Love trilogy.

Duchess of Love interview and contest

Yes, I've been quiet recently. I got the first draft of Jack's book done--the second in the Duchess of Love series--and now I'm revising. But today I spent almost an hour with our internet provider trying to figure out why my computer wouldn't get on the internet. I'm on...for the moment. But that means I haven't made much progress with revising the book. Grr.

Oh, well. If you'd like to read an interview and have a chance to win a book, hop on over to lovely Regency writer Theresa Romain's site here. And now I'll go back to revising.

The Duchess of Love debuts

I've been working on my next book that's due May 15, but I wanted to poke my head out long enough to tell you all that my e-novella, The Duchess of Love, is out today. This is the first time I've had an e-novella, so it's a bit of an adventure. But if you're not using an e-reader (I confess I'm not, except to help me revise my manuscripts), don't feel too left out. The novella will be included in the back of the print version of Bedding Lord Ned, out in June.

Now I'm going back to Jack's story. I see the end in sight--of the first draft! Then I have to revise, revise, revise and polish.

And while I've been avoiding this blog, Blogger went and changed its look, so I'm lost again. WHY do techie folks think constant change is good?? Sigh.

Okay, so I admit it--I'm a bit of an old fogy.

Bedding Lord Ned

Here's the cover for my June release, the first book in the Duchess of Love trilogy. The cover has gone through a number of tweaks. The first version had a dog where the cat is. It was a cute dog, but the character in the book is a cat! I'm so happy we were able to fix that.

If you'd like to read the first chapter--or the first chapter of the e-novella, "The Duchess of Love"--hop on over to my web site here. I've been doing some updating, so please take some time to poke around.
